An Invitation...

Sue Clark

As President, I invite you to consider becoming a member of The University Women's Club of The Ohio State University.

If, on the first Monday of October through May, you would enjoy a lovely luncheon in the beautiful Faculty Club on the campus of OSU, followed by an entertaining speaker, the UWC membership is for you.

If you would enjoy joining any or all of our 20 interest groups, where you would meet other women with similar interests, then UWC membership is for you.

If you would be excited about supporting scholarships for OSU women via members' donations and the proceeds from Buckeye Bargains, the UWC thrift shop, then UWC membership is for you.

These are just a few of the benefits that UWC members enjoy.  If any of the aforementioned appeals to you, then you need to peruse our New Members brochures and discover the details for yourself.  You can even download an Application form today!

To become a member, you do not have to be directly connected with The Ohio State University.  Membership in the UWC is, by definition in our Bylaws, "any person interested in the activities, well being and continuance of The Ohio State University and the Club..."

Also, please take time to visit Buckeye Bargains.  The shop is open on Wednesdays from 9:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. when OSU classes are in session.  It is located in the basement of Converse Hall (the ROTC building), 2121 Tuttle Park Place.  The entry is at the bright red doors on the NW corner of the building.  You might be surprised at the marvelous finds you make.  Our inventory changes frequently and often very rapidly.  It's one of those fun places that impulse buying is the only way to ensure that what interests you actually will become yours!  And best of all, ALL PROCEEDS go to Scholarship.

I look forward to hearing from you.
