Membership

Membership in the UWC is easy, and open to anyone who is "interested in the activities, well being and continuance of The Ohio State University and the Club."  That's from our Bylaws.

Simply apply, pay your dues and you can participate in any or all of the activities in the Club.  In return, you will make new friends, have lots of fun, and learn about many things you may not have known before.  And all for $20.00 a year.  You will even get your copy of our membership handbook which we've dubbed for years as the "Gray Book" because it IS gray.

You can be as active in the Club as you wish, and do everything - we have a few members who qualify for that category.  Or, you can be very selective and do some or a little.  We have members who fit that category, as well.  But most of us are somewhere in the middle, trying out everything over time to find the best fit.  And we all share in the sisterhood of membership in the University Women's Club.

We have 37 living Past Presidents.  (I know there's a better way of saying that, but "still alive" sounds like we're on the edge...)  Seven live out of state, but the other 30 are here in Columbus and very active in the Club.  If you have specific questions, these gals are a wealth of information and a testament to the timelessness and timeliness of our Club and what it has to offer..
