Leave an heirloom for your grandchildren. Trace their ancestry as far back as you can. Maybe an ancestor fought in the Revolutionary War; maybe arrived on the Mayflower; maybe came from Europe or Asia or... If you're lucky you'll have a scoundrel somewhere in the branches, because it's these colorful characters who made the newspapers; whereas, the quiet, law-abiding folks were seldom heard from.
