Government
The governing body of the Club is divided into three branches: The Executive Committee which consists of the elected officers of the Club; the Standing Committees which do much of the day-to-day running of the Club; and the Board which oversees nearly every aspects of the Club. The Board is comprised by the members of all of the Committees (Executive & Standing), as well as the Chairmen of the Interest Groups. Our Bylaws are the rules, the Scarlet Book provides the tools by spelling out the duties of every position in the Club. Overseeing all of this is an advisory group called Long Range Planning, which sees that surveys are taken, makes recommendations regarding possible activities, etc. In general, they keep us on the straight and narrow.
