The Board
The Board is the three prong governing body made up of the Executive Committee, the chairmen of the Standing Committees and the chairmen of all the Interest Groups.
The President of the Club is the chairman.
The Board approves the formation of Interest Groups.
The Board shall convene whenever business of the Club indicates and/or when called by the President. At the next meeting of the Club, the President or her designate shall report on all actions of the Board since the previous meeting.
The annual Board Meeting of the Club shall be held as a Joint Board meeting with the incoming Board after the Annual General Club meeting in May.
During the Joint Board meeting, the incoming Board shall elect two members to the Nominating Committee, by ballot, from the general membership. Those elected will serve a term of three years each, The chairman of the Nominating committee is a Presidential appointment by the incoming president, and shall serve for one year. The committee itself is rotational, with two members coming on as two members leave.
The Incoming Board shall vote on the proposed Club budget that was drawn up by the outgoing president's board.
Members of the Board shall not be held personally liable for the obligations of the organization.
