 Government

The Government of the University Women's Club is broken down into separate and distinct areas.  The Officers, the elected officials of the Club, make up the Executive Committee.  The Standing Committee chairmen are appointees of the President of the Club to fulfill certain specified duties.  The third group, the Board, is the most comprehensive group.  It is made up of Executive Committee and Standing Committee chairmen as well as the chairmen of every Interest Group.

The Executive Committee meets the Monday before the General Meeting (the UWC Luncheon Meeting) to manage the general day-to-day running of the Club, including the handling of monies.

Standing Committees meet whenever necessary to accomplish their assigned tasks.

The Board meets once a year, unless called by the President, to fulfill its particular duties.

All parts of the Club are ruled by the Club Bylaws.
